On next week’s show (26 October), we’ll have an interview with singer-songwriter Kate Walsh, recorded prior to her live show at Leeds’ Brudenell Social Club last Monday. Avid readers of this blog – which I imagine must describe just about every correct-thinking being in the known universe, or at the very least my wife – may remember that I done gone went and wrote about her beatifically restrained songs of a heart-shattered previously. The title track of her new album was also my pick for the BCB Music Blog’s first ever Singles Club.
If you tune into Selection Box on Monday, you will no doubt be as completely charmed by her charming charms as I was. A more delightful personage you couldn’t wish to meet – quite thoroughly charming lovely lovely lovely company. And I usually hate everyone.
