Better late than never

Thanks to Sound Shack for sending some interesting CDs to Bradford Beat, which I’ll be trying to play in the coming weeks – including Dooj and Jed’s Blues Band.

They’re promoting  a series of monthly gigs at Kirkgate Centre in Shipley which fans of live music should try to support.

The first is on Saturday March 24 and features reggae from Axis Sound System.

Finally here’s the playlist for last week’s show:

Wilful Missing – Cry For The City
Django Django – Wor
Trip and Stumble – I’m A Believer
Babybird – Beautiful Haze
Honour Before Glory – Maison (Bear Mask Remix)
Field Music – A New Town
Ellen and the Escapades – Run
Futureheads – Heartbeat Song
Whiter Than – Trying Hard To Be Myself
Threshold Shift – Take Me Down
M83 – Reunion
Little Comets – Worry
