Daniel Carroll is BCBs Youth Radio Development Worker - as well as serving as Assistant Station Manager. Dan works with a wide range of young people training them to produce and present radio programmes on BCB Radio. Dan currently leadsfor BCB on the YOF and Young Futures projects as well as the Paul Hamlyn research project Transmit Connect.. He is also responsible for working with young people to co-ordinate the BCB Extra youth radio strand on BCB106.6fm at 6.30 p,m every evening.
Griff is our very experienced Station Engineer, looking after all the wires, knobs and dials in the studios to ensure that everything works for us - and most importantly that we are able to transmit! Griff works at BCB one day a week ( usually Mondays) and is there to troubleshoot in a crisis...
Katherine Canoville is with us at BCB in the mornings, working on reception and booking guests for the daytime programmes.As well as providing a warm welcome to BCB, she particularly supports the About Bradford programme 11-12 every morning, and the Roundtable news review programme on Friday at noon
Janice Weale is our very part time finance worker, coming into BCB once a wekk to make sure that our books are kept up to date and in order!
BCB has two Community Reporters, Claire Kearns and Karol Wyszynski. They both produce regular reports and features that give voice to the diverse experiences of groups and individuals in our city.
Steve Langley is the BCB cleaner. He is there every morning at the crack of dawn lovingly preparing the building for the day.
Jo Kenyon is our Broadcast/Admin assistant and, along with Kath Canoville, often your first contact with BCB as she is there on reception every day from 1-6pm. Jo works with Kath and the staff team to coordinate the bookings for daytime programmes on BCB, particularly supporting the Drive programme 4-6pm Monday to Friday.
