Highlights include a giant picnic to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, the arrival of the Olympic Torch Relay and the Bradford Classic car show.   On Saturday, 19 May, City Park will play host to the Lord’s Mayor Carnival Parade which will see more than 1,000 people in costume making their way through the city, along with floats and giant fibreglass Corgis in honour of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. Bradford Pride, the annual event staged by local lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender communities, takes place on Saturday, May 26.
